Dyan standing on the Berea Sandstone – the hard caprock that forms the waterfalls throughout the region. Underlain by the Bedford and Cleveland shales.

Berea Sandstone is the cliff former and Bedford and Cleveland shales are the slope formers covered by Kudzo. Blocks in creek are formed as falls migrate up the creek.
Lichen looks like copper patina.
